Cocktails with Benedictine description

Benedictine is a herbal liqueur drink. It is developed by Alexandre Le Grand in the 19th century. It is produced in France. The recipe is a closely guarded secret and known to only three people at any given time. Each bottle of Benedictine has the initials D.O.M. on the label. This stands for "Deo Optimo Maximo" which means "To God, most good, most great".

Benedictine adds an amber color to cocktails and adds a herby taste to mixed drinks.

Some interesting cocktails with Benedictine: the Queen Elizabeth and the Tarantula.
