Description

The White Lady cocktail recipe:

Put the gin, the triple sec, the lemon juice, the sugar and the egg white into a shaker. Shake and strain into a martini glass and decorate the White Lady cocktail with a lemon twist.

The White Lady recipe was invented by Harry MacElhone in London in the Ciro's Club in 1919. Harry MacElhone originally used crème de menthe but changed it with gin at Harry's New York Bar in Paris in 1929.
