Brandy
Brandy is a spirit produced by distilling wine. It is typically taken as an after-dinner drink. In a broader sense, the term "brandy" also denotes liquors obtained from distillation of pomace, mash or wine of any other fruit. These spirits are also named eaux-de-vie. Some famous cocktails with brandy are the Sidecar and the Boston Sidecar.
