Dry vermouth
Vermouth is an aromatized and fortified wine which is flavored with various botanicals such as roots, flowers, barks, seeds, spices and herbs. Vermouth seems to have its origin in Turin, Italy. Vermouth is popular with bartenders as a key ingredient in many classic cocktails such as the Martini, the Manhattan and the Negroni. Vermouth is sometimes used as an alternative white wine in cooking. There are two main types of vermouth: sweet vermouth and dry vermouth. Looking for some cocktails with dry vermouth?
