Falernum
Falernum is a sweet syrup. It contains flavors of almond, ginger, often cloves, lime. Sometimes it also contains tastes of vanilla or allspice. Falernum is used in cocktails but it is also drunk on the rocks. Falernum is thick and the color can be white to light amber.
