Mezcal
Mezcal is a distilled alcoholic beverage made from the agave plant. Mezcal is generally drunk straight, not mixed in a cocktail. It is often accompanied with sliced oranges sprinkled with a mixture of ground fried larvae, ground chili peppers, and salt.
