Black pepper is a flowering vine, cultivated for its fruit, which is usually dried and used as a spice and seasoning. The fruit is known as a peppercorn and is about 0,5 cm big. There are 3 types of peppers. Black pepper which is cooked and dried unripe peppercorn. Green pepper is dried unripe peppercorn and white pepper is ripe fruitpeppercorn.
