Soju is a Korean vodka. Most soju is produced in South Korea. It is made from rice, wheat, or barley. Sometimes the rice is replaced by potatoes, sweet potatoes, or tapioca. Soju is transparent and colorless. Its alcohol content varies from about 16% to about 45%. Some major brands of soju are amongst the top selling brands of alcohol in the world.
