How to make a Skewered Creme Egg?

Skewered Creme Egg ingredients:

° Creme Eggs (as many as you’d like to serve)
° Bamboo skewers or cocktail sticks
° Optional for decoration: melted chocolate, sprinkles, crushed nuts, or any other decorative toppings you prefer

Skewered Creme Egg instructions:

1) Preparation: Start by carefully unwrapping the Creme Eggs to ensure they remain intact. If you’re using larger Creme Eggs, you might want to chill them in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes to firm them up, making them easier to skewer without breaking.
2) Skewering: Take a bamboo skewer or a cocktail stick and gently insert it into the narrower end of the Creme Egg. Push it in slowly until it’s about halfway through the egg. If you’re using a bamboo skewer and larger Creme Eggs, you can skewer multiple eggs on one stick, leaving some space between each egg.
3) Decoration (Optional): Melt some chocolate in a bowl. You can use a microwave, heating the chocolate in short bursts and stirring in between, or a double boiler on the stove.
Once the chocolate is melted and smooth, you can drizzle it over the skewered Creme Eggs or dip the eggs into the chocolate to coat them partially or fully.
Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle your choice of toppings over the eggs, such as sprinkles, crushed nuts, or any other decorative elements you like.
Place the skewered and decorated Creme Eggs on a piece of parchment paper and allow the chocolate to set completely. You can chill them in the refrigerator to speed up this process.
5) Serving: Once the chocolate has set, the skewered Creme Eggs are ready to be served. They make a fun and festive addition to any Easter table or as a sweet treat for any occasion.
