How to make the Hibiscus Margarita Sour cocktail recipe:

This cocktail is such a vibrant and fresh cocktail. A fun Margarita created by Julianna McIntosh. Fun fact for those that don’t realize, all Margaritas and Daiquiris are sours, just like their more popularly named Whiskey Sour cousin. I do like Jule’s addition of Sour to the title with the egg white that she’s added giving it that more typical foamy head and velvety texture.

Hibiscus Margarita Sour recipe ingredients:

° 1 1/2oz (4,5 cl) Tequila
° 3/4oz (2 cl) Cointreau
° 3/4oz (2 cl) Lime Juice
° 1/2oz (1,5 cl) Hibiscus Syrup
° 1 pinch salt
° 1 egg white
° Cinnamon Sugar for rimming
° Mezcal to rinse *optional for sure*

Hibiscus Margarita Sour cocktail instructions:

1) Start first by rimming your glass with a cinnamon sugar mix.
2) Next this is optional but rinse the inside of the glass with Mezcal.
3) Add fresh ice and set aside.
4) In a cocktail shaker add all remaining ingredients and shake with ice.
5) Strain into prepared glass.
6) Garnish with a lime slice and a few dried hibiscus flowers.
