Leg Spreader Description
🍹 Leg Spreader Cocktail Recipe (Strong Multi-Spirit Party Drink)
The Leg Spreader cocktail is a powerful party drink made with tequila, gin, vodka, and white rum, balanced with fruit juice or soda to keep it dangerously easy to drink. It belongs to the same family as the Long Island Iced Tea, but with brighter, fruit-forward flavors and a reputation as a bold nightlife cocktail.
Important: There is no official IBA recipe for the Leg Spreader. Several bar and party versions exist. The recipe below reflects the most common nightclub-style build.

✅ Leg Spreader Ingredients (cl and oz)
Glass: Highball or Hurricane
1.5 cl Vodka (0.5 oz)
1.5 cl Gin (0.5 oz)
1.5 cl Tequila (blanco) (0.5 oz)
1.5 cl White rum (0.5 oz)
8 cl Pineapple juice (2.7 oz)
4 cl Cranberry juice (1.35 oz)
Ice cubes
Garnish: Lime slice or cherry (optional)
Total spirits: 6 cl (2 oz) — similar alcohol content to a Long Island Iced Tea, but much fruitier.
🧊 Leg Spreader Recipe Instructions (Step-by-Step)
Fill a highball or hurricane glass with ice.
Pour in the vodka, gin, tequila, and white rum.
Add the pineapple juice and cranberry juice.
Stir gently to combine without over-diluting.
Garnish if desired and serve immediately while well chilled.
Bar method: Built directly in the glass. No shaker required.
🥂 Club & Party Variations
Some venues replace cranberry with orange juice or top the drink with lemon-lime soda for extra sweetness and carbonation.
Others add peach schnapps to make it even smoother and more aromatic.
All versions share the same concept:
multiple clear spirits + sweet fruit mixers = strong but easy-drinking cocktail.
🍸 Extra-Dry Version (No Juice, No Soda)
This version is sometimes served as a short, very strong cocktail.
Ingredients
Glass: Rocks
2 cl Vodka (0.7 oz)
2 cl Gin (0.7 oz)
2 cl Tequila (0.7 oz)
2 cl White rum (0.7 oz)
Ice
Method
Stir all spirits over ice and strain into a fresh rocks glass over ice.
This is extremely strong and much closer to a spirit blend than a typical cocktail.
